She looks frail, but there is no mistaking in those menacing looks when one comes face to face with Sakshi Fulzele.
A coy 11-year-old Black Belt Karate Champion and a student of Apostalik English Primary School, Kukde Layout. Sakshi has made a name for herself in Martial Arts and has bagged several gold medals till date. She is a student of Maharashtra Karate of Martial Arts Sports Academy, Nagpur, that is affiliated to All India Karate Federation, recognised by Government of India, Ministry of Sports and Youth Welfare Association and Indian Olympic Association.
So far, Sakshi created records at Kathmandu (Nepal), Delhi, Katra(Jammu & Kashmir), Nagpur, Nasapura (TRS), Deoli, Wardha, Ballarpur, Chandrapur, Brahmapuri, Kolhapur, Sakshi has bagged 32 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals. She has also won gold medal in "Taekwondo" event organised by Youth Welfare and Sports Directorate Pune.
Excellent performance of Sakshi Fulzele so far the glory of her various awards including "Nirdhar Mahila Bal Vikas Samiti Nagpur 2014", "Ranbo Award", "Chatrapati Student Award", "Nirdhar Woman Award 2014", "Nagabhushan National Award" by Satyashodhak committee, "Iron Girl of school Excellent Award 2014", "Maharashtra Navratana Jyoti Glory Award 2015". "Human Rights Sports Glory Award". Consulate General of Sri Lanka U Samartunga, have felicitated her. She has been interviewed by Awaz Tv Channel and was felicitated at the Military grounds for her performance in the "Nirbhaya Beti Mass Martial Art" demonstration. She has won the "Women�s Excellence Award" conferred by Aditya Hero Honda. And recently "Dr. Rajendraprasad Navratana Award 2015".
She has passed the examination for Black Belt held at Brahmapuri by Maharashtra Sport Academy with (A) grade. She coming from a economically backward background, her father Sanjay Fulzele is employed as House Keeper while her mother Poonam works at a Petrol Pump.
